Adam's Peak Private Hiking Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kitulgala at 4 pm to start this Adam's Peak night hiking tour.

First, we'll go to the town of Hatton, located at the foot of the mountain. Upon arrival, at around 6 pm, we'll start the trekking route to the highest part of Adam's Peak, the sacred mountain of Sri Lanka.

At 7,359 ft (2,243 meters) high, the route includes more than 5,000 steps. The effort to reach the most important pilgrimage site in the country will be rewarded by its religious significance and breathtaking views.

At the summit, visitors can find Buddha's footprint. While walking, we'll discuss various curious facts and legends associated with the area.

At around midnight, we'll reach the top in time to see the shadow of Adam's Peak projected on the valley. We will rest for an hour at the summit before starting the descent to the town of Dalhousie, arriving at around 6:30 am.

Finally, we'll have a comforting breakfast before boarding the minibus to return to your hotel in Kitulgala, arriving at about 9:30 am.
