Adam's Peak Private Hiking Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kitulgala at 4 pm to start this Adam's Peak night hiking tour.

First, we'll go to the town of Hatton, located at the foot of the mountain. Upon arrival, at around 6 pm, we'll start the trekking route to the highest part of Adam's Peak, the sacred mountain of Sri Lanka.

At 7,359 ft (2,243 meters) high, the route has more than 5,000 steps. The effort to reach the most important pilgrimage site in the country will be rewarding for its religious significance and unbeatable views.

Did you know that Buddha's footprint can be found on the summit? As we walk, we'll learn various curious facts and legends about this area.

At around midnight, we will reach the top just in time to see the shadow of Adam's Peak projected on the valley. We'll rest for an hour at the summit before starting our descent to the town of Dalhousie, arriving at around 6:30 am.

Finally, we'll have a comforting breakfast and then board the minibus to return to your hotel in Kitulgala, arriving at about 9:30 am.
