Kuala Selangor Day Trip

Having picked you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, we'll travel to Kuala Selangor, a coastal spot about an hour from the capital. Our first stop will be Bukit Melawati hill, site of an 18th-century fort with original cannons and views of the Western coast of the Malay peninsula.

Before the next destination, we will have a dinner at a local restaurant. The excursion then continues to Kampung Kuantan, known for its large population of fireflies, making it one of the most famous colonies of these insects in the world.

We'll take a boat trip on the Selangor River, where these fireflies illuminate the riverbanks—a fascinating natural spectacle. After our cruise, we will return to Kuala Lumpur, concluding the trip approximately 8 hours after our departure.

This tour includes pickup from hotels within half a kilometer from the center of Kuala Lumpur. If your accommodation is in a more distant area, you will need to reach the designated meeting point on your own.
