Malacca Day Trip

The former Portuguese colony of Malacca, or Melaka, has a rich history and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This full-day trip from Kuala Lumpur allows you to explore its legacy.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur and drive to Malacca, taking approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, a guided tour of the historic center will commence, beginning with St. Peter's Church, the oldest Roman Catholic church in Malaysia. You will then visit Santiago Gate, the sole remnant of the fortress of A Famosa.

Next, we will explore the Malacca Museum and Red Square, notable for its crimson-hued landmarks, including Christ Church. A traditional Malaysian lunch will follow at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will visit Jonker Street and the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Buddhist shrine in Malaysia.

The tour concludes with a riverside walk before we return to Kuala Lumpur, with hotel drop-off scheduled approximately 10 hours post-pickup.

Tour without Lunch

For those who prefer to dine independently, the option without lunch allows for one hour of free time while the rest of the group is at the restaurant.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur, excluding specific areas. If located elsewhere, pickup is available from the main entrance of Berjaya Times Square Shopping Centre.

Pickup is only included for a minimum of 2 persons. For singles, pickup is at the designated meeting point. An additional fee of 50RM per person applies for pickups outside specified areas.

Partial Closures

Note that St. Peter's Church and Red Square are closed on Mondays. Entry to the church requires appropriate attire, prohibiting shorts.
