The former Portuguese colony of Malacca, also spelled Melaka, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a rich history. This full-day trip from Kuala Lumpur explores this historical city.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur at the specified time and drive to Malacca, approximately a 2-hour journey. Upon arrival, a guided tour of the historic center begins, starting with St. Peter's Church, the oldest Roman Catholic church in Malaysia, and the Santiago Gate, the remaining part of the fortress of A Famosa.

Next, we'll visit the Malacca Museum and Red Square, notable for its crimson architecture, particularly the Christ Church. A traditional Malaysian lunch will follow at a local restaurant. After lunch, the tour continues to Jonker Street and the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Buddhist shrine in Malaysia.

The tour concludes with a riverside walk before returning to Kuala Lumpur, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 10 hours after pickup.
