The former Portuguese colony of Malacca, also spelled Melaka, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with significant historical importance. This full-day trip from Kuala Lumpur offers an opportunity to explore its rich legacy.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur at the scheduled time and drive to Malacca, which takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, a guided tour of the historic center will commence, starting with St. Peter's Church, the oldest Roman Catholic church in Malaysia. Next, we will visit the Santiago Gate, the last remnants of the fortress of A Famosa.

Following this, we will explore the Malacca Museum and Red Square, featuring various striking monuments, particularly the Christ Church. A traditional Malaysian lunch will be taken at a local restaurant before we continue to Jonker Street for shopping and a pass by the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in Malaysia.

The tour concludes with a river walk before returning to Kuala Lumpur, with arrival at your hotel expected 10 hours after pickup.
