PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course

This course is designed for beginners and is an entry-level experience for scuba diving, helping participants gain confidence underwater.

Day 1: Theory & Confined Water Practice

The course spans two days. Beginning on day one at the dive centre in Nusa Lembongan, participants will receive instruction on equipment use and safety techniques. After an initial theory lesson, participants will engage in a half-hour pool dive, practicing breathing with the regulator, buoyancy control, and underwater communication.

Day 2: Open Water Scuba Diving

On day two, participants will reconvene at the dive centre before boarding a boat to the designated site for the first open water dive. The instructor will assist throughout the process. The dive will reach a maximum depth of 12 meters, allowing exploration of coral reefs and marine life around Nusa Lembongan.

Following the first dive, a lunch with coffee, tea, and fresh fruit (vegetarian option available) will be provided. After the required waiting period, a second dive will take place, allowing participants to apply their new skills.

The course concludes with a return sail to the dive centre for rest at accommodations.

Diving at Manta Point

Participants may choose to dive in the Manta Point area, adjacent to Nusa Penida, known for its diverse marine wildlife and the chance to dive alongside manta rays.

Important Information

After the activity, participants must wait at least 18 hours before flying or ascending above 300 meters above sea level.
