PADI Open Water Diving Course

Day 1: Theory

On the first day, you'll watch videos and complete the Knowledge Reviews of the PADI Open Water Digital Manual. This theory part is self-study and can be performed at the dive center or partially in your accommodation if you have your own tablet or smartphone. Assistance will be provided to create your PADI Account for accessing digital materials. Your instructor will review your progress at the end of the day.

Day 2: Confined water practice

On the second day, you'll begin the practical part of the course with your instructor. They will brief you on the equipment and its setup. You will complete Confined Water practice in a swimming pool, learning scuba skills that will be practiced over the next two days. This session typically takes half a day, followed by further theory.

Day 3: Open water dives

On the third day, you will undertake your first 2 dives in the ocean. An instructor briefing will prepare you for these dives, which will reach a maximum depth of 40 feet at training-suitable dive sites. Afterward, you’ll complete remaining theory or confined water exercises.

Day 4: Final Day

On the last day, you will complete your final 2 dives, reaching a maximum depth of 60 feet. If all theory is finished, you will celebrate your accomplishment. Dive sites are chosen with your training requirements and safety in mind, with ample opportunities to see marine life. You will finish by lunchtime, allowing you to leave that afternoon or stay on to enjoy Nusa Lembongan with a 10% discount on additional fun dives.
