PADI Open Water Diving Course

Day 1: Theory

On the first day, you'll watch videos and complete the Knowledge Reviews of the PADI Open Water Digital Manual. This theory part is self-study and can be done at our dive center or partially in your accommodation if you have a tablet or smartphone. You'll create your PADI Account for access to digital materials, and your instructor will review your work at the end of the day.

Day 2: Confined water practice

On the second day, you'll meet your instructor at the dive center for the practical part of the course. You'll receive a briefing about the equipment and learn to set it up. Confined Water practice will occur in a swimming pool, covering scuba skills, with further practice over the next two days. This session takes half a day, followed by additional theory study.

Day 3: Open water dives

On the third day, you'll complete your first 2 dives in the ocean with a briefing from your instructor. These dives will reach a maximum depth of 40 feet at training-suitable dive sites. Afterward, you'll return to finish any remaining theory or practices from the swimming pool.

Day 4: Final Day

On the final day, you will conduct 2 more dives, reaching a maximum depth of 60 feet. If all theory is completed, you can celebrate upon returning to the dive center. Dive sites are chosen with safety and training requirements in mind, and you will encounter various marine life during your dives. The course concludes by lunchtime, allowing for afternoon travel or additional fun dives at a 10% discount.

Important Information

After your last dive, you should wait at least 24 hours before boarding a plane or going to high-altitude areas.
