Dolphin Sighting Experience

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in Thesen Harbour Town. Here, you'll be provided with lifejackets and receive a briefing about the upcoming activity. We will then walk to the Knysna harbour to board a boat and start this experience among the dolphins.

We'll sail along the Knysna estuary until reaching the Knysna Heads cliffs, the dominant rocks in the area. From there, we'll enter the Indian Ocean.

During the sailing, we'll have the opportunity to spot three different dolphin species: the bottlenose, the common dolphin, and the humpback dolphin, the last of which is an endangered species and a special sighting. Additionally, we may see Cape seals, African penguins, and possibly sharks.

This tour also offers stunning views of the coastline along the Garden Route, known for its scenic beauty. After an hour and a half of sailing, we will return to the meeting point to conclude the experience.
