On this boat ride around Knysna Heads, we will explore the Indian Ocean and view one of the notable sites along the South African coastline.
Description
At the specified time, we will gather in Thesen Harbour Town. Participants will be provided with life jackets before proceeding to the port for the trip around the estuary in Knysna. The exploration will cover the mouth of the river Knysna.
The tour lasts for 45 minutes, during which we will sail around the water and observe a variety of birds and seals on the Cape. The highlight will be the cliffs of Knysna Heads, known for their scenic beauty.
Weather permitting, we may venture into the open sea to witness the meeting point of the river and the Indian Ocean, as well as explore the local rocky formations and caves.
After approximately one hour on the boat, we will return to the meeting point and conclude the tour.
