With our Koh Chang PADI Open Water Diver Course, you'll take the next step in becoming a confident, independent diver. You'll practise in both confined and open waters during this 3-day course.

Koh Chang PADI Open Water Diver Course

If you want to train as a scuba diver during your stay in Koh Chang, our Koh Chang PADI Open Water Diver Course is for you. You will complete four dives throughout the course.

Day 1: Theory lesson and practice in confined waters

On the first day, you'll receive a theory lesson and take a simple test at the diving school to ensure understanding. Following the theory, you'll practice in calm waters at the beach. You'll learn to set up your equipment, assist a buddy with air issues, clear your mask, control buoyancy, and other essential skills.

Days 2 and 3: Dives in open water

The second and third days involve two dives each day, applying skills from Day 1 while practising using the compass. You will explore the seabeds of Koh Chang, Koh Mak, and Koh Rang in the Gulf of Thailand. At the course end, you'll receive your PADI Open Water Diver Course certificate, allowing you to dive independently worldwide.

Lunch is included each day, featuring a buffet with rice, noodles, salad, fresh fish, chicken, and fruit.
