Continue to improve your diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You can also choose up to three speciality courses.

Advanced PADI Open Water Diver

After completing the PADI Open Water Course, you can advance your skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. This course consists of five dives, including two compulsory dives: deep diving and underwater navigation. You can choose three additional dives from the following options at the diving centre:

The Nitrox air enriched diving and Sidemount diver specialities incur an additional fee at the diving centre.

Day 1: Deep diving, underwater navigation and speciality

On Day 1, hotel pickup in Koh Samui is at 7:30 am, followed by a boat trip through the Gulf of Thailand. You will complete three dives: the two obligatory dives and one chosen speciality. For the deep diving speciality, the maximum depth is 30 metres. For the underwater navigation, you will learn to use a compass for orientation. After the dives, you will return to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Day 2: Specialities

On Day 2, hotel pickup is at the same time, with two dives instead of three, based on your chosen specialities. After completing the exercises, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate and return to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Important Information

To obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, you must have previously completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course.

Lunch

Lunch is included during the course days. Expect a buffet with rice, noodles, salad, fish, and fresh fruit.

Important Information

This activity includes pickup from hotels in central Koh Samui. An additional fee of 800 THB (approx. 26 USD) per person applies for locations in the western or southern areas. Alternatively, you can travel to the meeting point independently.
