Continue to improve your diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You can also choose up to three specialty courses.

Advanced PADI Open Water Diver

Upon completing your PADI Open Water Course, you may pursue the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course to further your diving knowledge and skills. This course consists of five dives, including two compulsory dives: deep diving and underwater navigation. You may select three additional dives from the following options at the diving centre:

The courses for Nitrox air enriched diving and Sidemount diver incur an additional fee advised at the diving centre.

Day 1: Deep diving, underwater navigation and specialty

On the first day, pick-up from your hotel in Koh Samui occurs at 7:30 am, followed by boarding a boat for dives in the Gulf of Thailand. Three dives will be conducted: the two mandatory dives and one chosen specialty. The deep diving specialty reaches a maximum depth of 30 metres, focusing on air pressure management. In the underwater navigation specialty, skills to orient yourself with a compass will be developed. Return to your hotel will occur between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Day 2: Specialities

On the second day, hotel pick-up is at the same time, with the same itinerary, but only two dives will be conducted. Locations will depend on selected specialities. After completing the exercises, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, with return to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Important Information

To achieve the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, completion of the PADI Open Water Diver Course is required.

Lunch

Lunch is included during the course days, featuring a buffet of rice, noodles, salad, fish, and fresh fruit.

Important Information

This activity includes pick-up for hotels in central Koh Samui. An additional fee of 800 THB (approximately 26 USD) will apply if you are staying in western or southern areas of the island. Alternatively, you may independently travel to the meeting point.
