Koh Samui Island Exploration

Upon your hotel pickup in Koh Samui, you'll embark on a journey to your initial destination on this guided exploration of the Thai island. Your first stop is Wat Phra Yai, commonly referred to as The Big Buddha Temple. This impressive, gold-painted Buddha statue stands nearly 40 feet (12 m) high on Koh Fan, a small islet off the northeast coast of Koh Samui. Ascend the 73 steps to appreciate the grandeur of this captivating figure up close!

Continuing your exploration of the region’s religious and cultural significance, you will visit Wat Laem Suwannaram, a temple complex set on a serene lake and one of the premier Buddhist sites on the island. Upon arriving at this enclave, you’ll be captivated by its stunning sculptures, notably the colossal Guanyin statue, the goddess of compassion and mercy with 18 arms. Take a moment to relish the tranquil ambiance of this extraordinary sanctuary.

Your next destination embraces nature at the Samui Viewpoint located in the central part of the island. From this spectacular lookout, you’ll enjoy unparalleled scenic views of the island’s pristine beaches and the crystal-clear waters that surround you. As you make your way down to the coastline, don’t miss the famous Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, which showcase unique geological formations.

Your adventure continues with a visit to the intriguing Mummified Monk, a site that may seem somber, but to locals, it symbolizes the cycle of life and rebirth. Concluding on an uplifting note, you will be taken to the breathtaking Na Muang waterfalls, nestled within the lush jungle. • Chaweng / Chaweng Noi: 9 am - 9:15 am

• Bangrak / Choengmon / Plai Laem: 9:15 - 9:30 am
