At the indicated time, meet your guide at the main entrance to Amalienborg. The palace, located on the waterfront, is the residence of the current Danish monarchs and a key monument in the city.

Originally constructed in the 18th century for Danish nobility, Amalienborg became the official royal residence after a fire at Christiansborg Palace in 1794.
