Christiansborg Palace Guided Tour Itinerary
Meet your guide at the main entrance to Christiansborg Palace, located on Slotsholmen, an islet in Copenhagen's harbour. Your expert English-speaking guide will explain the current use of Christiansborg as the seat of the Folketing, the Danish Parliament. You will then embark on a guided tour of the palace's royal chambers, admiring the Baroque and Neo-Baroque interior decoration.
Discover the collection of Gobelin tapestries in the Great Hall of Christiansborg, which portray various events from Denmark's history. After approximately an hour and a half, the guided tour will conclude back at the original start point.
Christiansborg Tower
At the end of your tour, you will have the opportunity to climb up to the Christiansborg Observation Deck, the tallest tower in Copenhagen, offering panoramic views over the Danish capital. The tower is open from 11 am until 9 pm, and access is free.
