Our journey will commence as we pass the Copenhagen Opera House, which sits across from the harbor and is renowned for its modern architecture and excellent acoustics. After this, we will make our way to St Alban's Church, Denmark's sole Anglican church, with its neo-Gothic design and coastal location, it is perfect for picturesque photography. Ready to capture some moments?
Next on our path is the Amalie Gardens, a beautifully landscaped area linked to Amalienborg Palace, the official home of Denmark's royal family. As we traverse its manicured paths, we will uncover insights into Denmark's colonial past and the Fireburn Revolt spearheaded by Mary Thomas in the Danish West Indies.
Our exploration will then lead us to Kastellet Fortress, one of the most historic fortifications in Northern Europe. We will wander through this citadel and, upon departure, we will come face to face with the Little Mermaid sculpture.
