Join us on a walk through the neighbourhood of Vesterbro and explore its history and beer.

Activity Details

For a differentiated route through the Danish capital, meet us at the designated time in front of the Urban House hostel to start this beer tour of Copenhagen.

We will explore Vesterbro, known as the city's former red-light district. Today, it is a popular residential area.

In Vesterbro, secrets have shifted from the past to the present. We will walk through lively streets while sampling specially curated beers and hearing stories about Copenhagen's history, including World War II, the Gypsy Brewer, Danish film villains, and beer rivalries.

During the tour, participants will try 9 different beers, amounting to approximately 1 litre per person. By the end, guests will have enhanced their knowledge of Danish beer and likely feel more cheerful.

After 1.5 hours of sightseeing, we will conclude at the final pub of the tour, located at Istedgade 130.

Included

  • English–speaking guide
  • Sample of 9 different beers
