Join us on a walk through the neighbourhood of Vesterbro and discover its history while enjoying local beers.

Danish Beer Experience

We'll meet at 15 Colbjørnsensgade, near Copenhagen Central Station, to start this Beer Walk. Get ready to learn about Copenhagen's history while tasting various local and craft beers.

From this central location, we'll explore Vesterbro, known for its bohemian character and as the city's former red-light district, now a popular residential area.

In Vesterbro, we'll uncover its vibrant culture by sampling specially curated beers while hearing stories about Copenhagen's past, including World War II, the Gypsy Brewer, Danish film villains, and beer rivalries.

Throughout the tour, you'll try 9 different beers, totaling approximately 1 litre per person. By the end, you will gain a greater appreciation for Danish beer.

After a duration of 2 hours, we'll conclude the tour at the final pub, Åben, located in downtown Copenhagen.
