With this excursion, you'll learn how to ice fish like a local on a lake in Äkäslompolo. Plus, you'll travel there by snowmobile!

Description

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and head over to our starting point. There, we'll hop on snowmobiles and begin making our way through beautiful snowy forests until we reach the perfect spot for ice fishing. An authentic Lappish experience!

We'll pass through the trails of the snow-filled fields, admiring the natural beauty of Äkäslompolo along the way. After a snowmobile ride, we'll arrive at a frozen lake, where we'll set up our fishing gear.

Ignoring the snowmobiles, we'll dig a hole in the lake's ice and wait for a fish to take the bait. Throughout the activity, the guide will provide helpful tips and tricks to enhance your ice fishing skills.

After this fishing experience, we'll return to the snowmobiles and head back to the starting point, concluding the activity at your hotel after a total of 4 hours.

Requirements

To drive the snowmobile, you'll need to have a valid driver's license, which you'll have to show before starting the activity. Children under four years old are permitted on the tour, but this activity is not especially recommended for such young children.
