Husky Sleigh Ride

Enjoy a 5-kilometer ride on a sleigh pulled by husky dogs through the forests of Äkäslompolo, an unforgettable journey through an incredible landscape!

Husky Sleigh Ride

At the designated time, pickup will be at your hotel in Äkäslompolo to visit a husky kennel and meet the dogs. After greeting the animals, participants will hop on board a sleigh for a special route through the forest. The five-kilometer ride allows exploration of the Lapland landscapes.

The sled will be shared between two adults, who will alternate driving and seating roles. Participants will also learn about huskies, typical Nordic dogs accustomed to low temperatures and the care they receive.

After the half-hour journey, the experience concludes at the kennel with a hot drink next to a cozy campfire. The total duration of the activity is approximately 2.5 hours, after which participants will be returned to their hotel.
