Husky Sleigh Ride

Enjoy a 5-kilometer ride on a sleigh pulled by husky dogs through the forests of Äkäslompolo, an unforgettable journey through an incredible landscape!

Husky Sleigh Ride

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and head over to a husky kennel, where we'll meet our companions for the day.

After greeting the dogs, we'll hop on board a sleigh that will take us on a special route through the forest. The five-kilometer ride allows us to explore the surroundings of Äkäslompolo while admiring the wintry landscapes of Lapland.

The sled will be shared between two adults who will alternate roles as driver and passenger.

Along the way, we'll learn interesting facts about huskies, dogs typical of Nordic countries suited for low temperatures. You'll be informed about the daily care they receive.

After half an hour in this extraordinary natural setting, we'll return to the kennel for a hot drink next to a cozy campfire.

The activity lasts around 2.5 hours, after which we will drop you back off at your hotel.
