Snowshoeing Adventure for the Northern Lights

Starting at 8 pm, you'll be picked up from your accommodation in Ylläsjärvi and transported to the scenic outskirts of the town. As twilight approaches, we'll prepare for an engaging experience of snowshoeing beneath the beautiful northern lights!

Equipped with snowshoes, you will discover the fundamental techniques for traversing the snowy terrain, a skill traditionally utilized by the Lappish people. Once you’re comfortable with your snowshoes, we'll embark on a woodland journey in pursuit of one of nature's most spectacular displays—the northern lights!

Along the way, we will pause at various scenic points to admire this stunning light show in the sky. To warm up afterward, a hot beverage paired with a traditional Finnish treat will be served.

Once we finish our refreshments, we will make our way back to our starting location to return the snowshoes. The tour will conclude around 10:30 pm with your return to the hotel.
