Pallas-Yllästunturi Ski Touring

At 10 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ylläsjärvi and head to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Prepare to explore snowy forests as real skiers.

We'll equip ourselves with poles and boots, and embark on a ski touring activity to discover the forests of Pallas-Yllästunturi. Throughout the tour, we'll learn about the native vegetation of this region.

We will also cross frozen lakes, climb snowy hills, and take a break in a traditional tipi, enjoying a hot drink and traditional cookies for warmth.

Afterward, we will explore the arctic wilderness and, if fortunate, track the wildlife in Pallas-Yllästunturi. The tour will conclude with a return to the starting point to return the skis, followed by transportation back to your hotel.

The tour ends at approximately 4 pm.
