Trip Overview
Our adventure begins in the morning, where we will meet at the specified location in Izmir. From there, we will board a comfortable minibus for a scenic journey to the intriguing ancient city of Ephesus along the Ionian coastline.
After approximately one and a half hours on the road, we will arrive at the Ephesus site, hailed as one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in Turkey. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a guided tour to uncover some of its most iconic landmarks, including the Library of Celsus, renowned as one of the most opulent libraries of the Roman Empire in the region.
Among the notable sights on this journey is the Temple of Artemis and the Temple of Hadrian, erected in memory of the esteemed Roman emperor. Nearby, we will encounter the remarkable Roman Theater, which accommodates up to 24,000 attendees.
Following our exploration of Ephesus, we will recharge with a tasty Turkish meal at a local restaurant. With our hunger satisfied and our cameras brimming with photographs, we’ll return to the minibus for our journey back to Izmir.
The excursion will conclude with our return to the initial meeting point, after a total duration of 8 to 9.5 hours.
