Description
The journey begins at the Izmir Clock Tower, where we will gather at the predetermined time for an engaging tour. Our initial destination is the Asansör lookout point, which provides breathtaking views of the city from its scenic elevator. A wonderful kickoff for our adventure!
Once we’ve taken some memorable photos, we will board a public streetcar that will transport us to the famed Kemeralti Bazaar. This lively market, which has been in operation since the 18th century, is an essential stop in Izmir. Wander through its numerous stalls, discover the array of products available, and select a perfect souvenir to remember your visit.
Following this, we will admire the striking facade of the Hisar Mosque and you will have approximately 30 minutes of free time to savor a delicious lunch. Once you are replenished, we will proceed to the concluding segment of our excursion, where we will explore one of Izmir's hidden gems—the illustrious Agora. Be prepared to uncover the fascinating links between this historic site and Alexander the Great, as we stroll through the remnants of this ancient Greek city, revealing its enthralling past.
After five hours of exploration, we will wrap up our insightful journey near the Agora, leaving you with treasured memories of Izmir's historical richness.
