Pamukkale & Hierapolis Excursion

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your Izmir hotel, and head east towards our first destination: Pamukkale.

Also known as the 'cotton castle,' Pamukkale is one of the most fascinating places on earth. The waters of these travertine terraced pools are actually the perfect temperature for a warm relaxing bath. You'll spend a total of 3 hours at Pamukkale, initially accompanied by the guide. Then, enjoy some free time to wander and explore the complex's various areas at your leisure. If you wish, you can take a dip in one of the pools.

Upon finishing your exploration of the pools, we'll visit the ancient Greek city of Hierapolis. Here, you'll learn about the origins of this ancient city and explore the ruins of the Roman theater.

Next, we'll head to a local restaurant to refuel with a delicious lunch, which includes a main dish and a drink.

After lunch, we will return to Izmir, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, with the total excursion lasting between 11 to 12 hours.

Please note that if you wish to take a dip in one of the pools during your free time at Pamukkale, you'll need to pay for it onsite, with prices varying.
