Day Trip Overview

Our journey begins at 8 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Izmir. Following this, we will board a comfortable minibus to travel to the provincia of Bergama.

After approximately 1.5 hours of travel, we will arrive at the site of the once-great Greek city of Pergamon. Here, you will stroll through the ruins, discovering captivating sites such as the terraces, the acropolis, the temples dedicated to ancient Greek and Roman deities, and the renowned Altar of Zeus. This excursion will transport you through time and offer a remarkable experience.

Next, we will visit the Asclepeion of Pergamon. This temple, dedicated to Asclepius, the deity of health, functioned as a center for healing. While you navigate through this historical site, insights into ancient medicinal practices will be revealed.

When it’s time to recharge, we will guide you to a nearby restaurant where you can savor a delicious lunch, featuring some of the most traditional dishes from the region.

As the tour concludes, we will return to Izmir, ensuring you are back at your hotel by around 5 pm.
