Discover the ruins of the ancient city of Pergamon on this excursion from Izmir. You'll visit its temples, library, palaces and, of course, the Asclepeion.

Pergamon Ruins Excursion

At 8 am on the morning of the tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Izmir. After that, we'll depart on a comfortable minibus to the Turkish province of Bergama.

After an hour and a half, we'll arrive at the ancient Greek city of Pergamon. You'll explore its ruins, including the terraces, the acropolis, and the temples dedicated to Greek and Roman gods, as well as the famous Altar of Zeus.

Next, we will visit the Asclepeion of Pergamon, dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine. This ancient healing temple will provide insights into historical healing techniques.

Our final stop will be the Archaeological Museum of Pergamon, where we will view more remnants from the ancient city and learn about its history.

After the tours, we will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring typical local dishes at a local restaurant.

At the conclusion of the tour, we will return to Izmir and drop you back at your hotel around 5 pm.
