Description
At the designated time, we'll meet at the cruise ship terminal and, once everyone has arrived, we'll be ready to discover all of Koper's best-kept secrets.
During this tour, we'll uncover Koper's Venetian Renaissance traditions, where history comes to life in the city squares and perfectly preserved architecture.
As we explore the streets of this coastal city on the Istrian Peninsula, we'll visit the Muda Gate, Prešeren Square, and the Da Ponte Fountain. The fountain, dating back to 1666, is shaped like a semicircular bridge with 15 columns, each featuring the coat of arms of local noble families.
We'll also visit other locations in Koper, such as the Assumption Cathedral, Tito Square, Carpaccio Square, and the seaside promenade. To conclude the tour, we'll sample some of the city's local delicacies, paired with a glass of wine.
Finally, 3 hours after beginning this tour, we'll say our goodbyes at the starting point.
