Cruise Details

Day 1

Meet at Iskandar airport in the morning, then travel to Kumai. Board the klotok, a traditional wooden boat, which will serve as your floating house during the cruise. Navigate the Sekonyer river to the Tanjung Harapan rehabilitation center for Orangutans, observing proboscis monkeys, Macaques, and exotic birds along the way.

At Tanjung Harapan, see orangutans in their natural habitat. Afterward, enjoy a sunset on the river followed by a candlelight meal accompanied by jungle sounds.

Day 2

After breakfast, head to Pondok Tanggui to watch orangutans. Board the klotok and travel to Leakey camp, with a two-hour journey offering nature views and a meal on board.

At Camp Leakey, choose between a hiking route through the jungle or a visit to the information center. Then, visit the Nipa Palm area to observe fireflies. Note that their sighting cannot be guaranteed due to their natural behavior.

A night trek will follow to search for orangutans, concluding with dinner on board and rest.

Day 3

Breakfast on the boat precedes travel to Kumai. Board an air-conditioned vehicle to the airport in Pangkalan Ban for approximately 9:30 am, concluding the trip.

Tour Accommodation

Accommodation will be on a traditional klotok, approximately 50 feet long, equipped with mattresses, cushions, a mosquito net, kitchen, and bathroom. A professional crew will assist, consisting of a captain, chef, and English-speaking guide.

What Do I Need for This Tour?

Participants should have a return flight to Pangkalan Bun Iskandar Airport, arriving before 12 PM on the first day and departing three days later. For a 4-day tour, the return flight should be on the fourth day.
