Explore Lantau Island with a Private Guide

Lantau is known as the “green lung” of Hong Kong. On this private tour, you can select to spend either 4, 6, or 8 hours exploring this largely untouched island. Initially, we'll pick you up from your hotel and proceed to Tung Chung, where you can enjoy a 24-minute cable car ride to Ngong Ping Village, taking in stunning mountain views. During the tour, we'll visit the Po Lin Monastery and the Big Buddha statue, discussing the significance of Buddhism in Hong Kong. You will also climb 268 steps to the Big Buddha. Next, we will visit Tai O village, a well-preserved area on Lantau Island, where you can take a small boat ride to view stilted houses and the Tai O Heritage Hotel. You will have opportunities to buy unique homemade sweets and local seafood before taking a ferry back to Tung Chung and returning to your hotel.
