Explore Lantau Island with a Private Guide

Lantau is known as the “green lung” of Hong Kong, and when you visit, you feel like you've stepped back in time 50 years. On this private tour, you can choose to spend either 4, 6, or 8 hours exploring the city as we take you around this largely untouched island.

First, we'll pick you up from your hotel and walk over to Tung Chung to take a 24-minute cable car ride to Ngong Ping Village, admiring the mountain views. We'll see the Po Lin Monastery and the Big Buddha statue, explaining the importance of Buddhism here. Participants will climb 268 steps to the Big Buddha.

Next, we’ll head to Tai O village, notable for its preservation. Here, you'll enjoy a small boat ride to view the stilted houses and the Tai O Heritage Hotel. You'll have the chance to buy unique homemade sweets and local seafood before taking a ferry back to Tung Chung and returning to your hotel.

This tour is free for children under 16 when accompanied by a paying adult. If they are unaccompanied, they will be treated as adults. When booking for two adults and one child, only two tickets are needed, but please inform us about children accompanying you.
