Sunrise or Sunset Trip to the Haleakal? Volcano

Upon booking, you can select from two trip options that start and end at your hotel in Maui, including an English-speaking guide and admission to Haleakal? National Park.

Haleakal? Sunrise Trip (9 hours 30 minutes)

The Haleakal?, meaning House of the Sun, provides a unique opportunity to watch the sunrise. Pickup will occur from your hotel at the scheduled time to head to the volcano. We’ll traverse through the sea of clouds towards this dormant volcano, discussing its sacred significance to Polynesians.

At the summit, you will witness the sunrise illuminating the peaks and clouds. A visit to the Haleakal? Visitor Center will follow, where you can see the rare silversword plant and native species like the N?n? goose.

During the descent, a stop will be made for a complete breakfast at Café O Lei at the Plantation, with menu options including pancakes with Macadamia nuts. Before returning to your hotel, enjoy breakfast at a lodge with views of Maui's coastline.

Haleakal? Sunset Trip (7 hours)

This tour offers an evening alternative to watch the sunset. The itinerary is similar, with the visit to the Haleakal? National Park Visitor Center occurring during daytime to see local plant life, including silversword plants. Afterward, you can relax and enjoy the sunset.

A dinner to take home will be provided before returning to your hotel.
