Sunrise or Sunset Trip to the Haleakal? Volcano

When booking, you can choose between two trips. Both start and end at your hotel in Maui and include an English-speaking guide and admission to the national park.

Haleakal? Sunrise Trip (9 hours 30 minutes)

The Haleakal?, meaning "House of the Sun," offers a unique sunrise experience. After hotel pickup, we will head to the volcano in the early hours. We will navigate through the sea of clouds en route to Haleakal?, a dormant volcano with a rich history for Polynesians. At the summit, we will witness the sunrise casting light over the peaks and clouds. Breakfast will be provided at a lodge with panoramic views of Maui's coastline before returning to your hotel.

Haleakal? Sunset Trip (7 hours)

This tour is for those who prefer a sunset. The itinerary is similar, occurring in the evening. We will visit the Haleakal? National Park during the day to observe the setting sun. There will be opportunities to see local flora, including silversword plants unique to the area, before enjoying the sunset view.
