Ephesus Day Trip

You will be picked up from your hotel in Kusadasi and embark on your adventure into Antiquity, heading towards the Turkish province of Izmir.

The first stop will be the historic Catholic Shrine, known as the House of the Virgin Mary, where Saint John is said to have brought Mary, the mother of Jesus, after his crucifixion. You'll learn about the history that makes this place significant.

You will then enjoy a guided tour of the Ephesus archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its well-preserved ruins. Highlights include the Library of Celsus, built as a mausoleum for Tiberius Julius Celsus and to hold over 10,000 scrolls, as well as the Temple of Hadrian and the Roman Theatre of Ephesus.

After your visit to Ephesus, you will head to the nearby town of Selçuk for lunch featuring local specialties. Post-lunch, visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the Isa Bey Mosque, dating back to the 14th century.

Your tour will conclude with your return to Kusadasi, lasting a total of 5-7 hours.
