Tour itinerary: Explore the Greco-Roman city of Ephesus
At the specified time, we will collect you from your hotel in Kusadasi and travel north for a half-hour drive to Ephesus, a historic Greco-Roman city in Anatolia and a World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, a guided tour of Ephesus will showcase prominent remnants such as the Library of Celsus, the theater, and the Odeon. You'll learn about their functions during the tour.
The tour also includes a visit to the Temple of Hadrian, exploration of ancient latrines, and a pause at the Fountain of Trajan, which is dedicated to the first Hispanic emperor of the Roman Empire.
After the Ephesus tour, we will head to nearby vineyards for a tasting experience at a local winery featuring seven Turkish wines paired with regional products. You will gain insights into local wine culture. The winery also offers an option for purchasing lunch.
The journey concludes with a return to your hotel in Kusadasi, approximately six hours after the initial pickup.
