Day Trip to Funzi Island

Description

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Diani for our day trip to Funzi Island. The journey to Bodo includes passing by the scenic village of Shirazi. This 40-minute ride offers views of the green sugar cane fields and the Ramisi Sugar Factory.

Upon arrival, we'll board a motorized canoe for an adventure along the Ramisi River, where you'll spot various birds. At low tide, we will relax on the beautiful sand banks of Funzi, ideal for swimming in crystal-clear waters and sunbathing.

We will enjoy a meal featuring seafood, grilled fish, and rice with coconut. After lunch, you'll have free time on the beach to unwind and explore.

Once we reconvene, we will explore the village in Funzi to learn about the local community's history and culture. You'll have opportunities to engage with locals and observe traditional practices.

After a four-hour tour, we will return to your hotel in Diani.
