At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Diani with a tuk-tuk to travel to the sacred forest of Kaya Kinondo. Locals use this place to communicate with their ancestors through prayers and offerings. The tour begins at the Kaya Kinondo's Visitors Information Center for a brief introduction to the forest. The term Kaya means home or village, and this forest was established by the Digo-Mijikenda people over 600 years ago.

Next, we'll commence our hiking tour to learn about the forest's flora and fauna, and the sacred activities that occur here. Experience a cultural performance and witness an ancestral healing ritual with a healer in the main forest clearing. This is an opportunity to engage with the region's oldest traditions.

After our forest exploration, we'll proceed to a traditional village to learn about their lifestyle and modes of subsistence. We will return to your hotel after this 4-5 hour tour.
