La Ametlla de Mar Swimming with Tuna Experience

We will meet at your selected time in the Ametlla de Mar Port to commence the tour.

The experience begins with a 20-minute sail on the Balfegó Tour catamaran to the bluefin tuna pools, accompanied by an informative video, From the Sea to Balfegó, explaining tuna characteristics and fishing techniques.

Upon reaching the bluefin tuna pools, we will anchor for observation. Here, about 300 tuna specimens reside, growing up to 8 feet (2.5 meters) and weighing up to 330 pounds (250 kilograms).

After a brief explanation, you will snorkel while swimming with the tuna for 1 hour, experiencing these creatures close-up.

Post-snorkelling, based on your selection, we will return to the catamaran to enjoy a tuna tasting onboard. The tour concludes after 2 hours of water activities with a return to La Ametlla de Mar port.

Children's tickets for ages 5 to 10 exclude tuna tasting. Tickets for children under 4 are free but do not include swimming with tuna.

Snorkelling equipment not included

Due to Covid-19 precautions, snorkelling goggles, masks, and fins won't be provided. Participants must bring their own snorkelling equipment.
