In this bird watching activity in the Ebro Delta, we'll admire the great ornithological diversity of this area of the province of Tarragona.

Ebro Delta Bird Watching Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time at the reception of Camping Ampolla Playa de L'Ampolla. From there, we'll begin our tour to learn about the fauna of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. The route will be explored on foot and in your own car, following the guide's vehicle.

Following an environmental educator, we'll explore the surroundings of the Olles Lagoon, the smallest of the park, but home to an important population of waterfowl. During the tour, we'll observe various bird species that coexist in this ecosystem. We will visit the viewpoints around the lagoon to see ducks, egrets, kingfishers, and stilts, as well as the flamingos.

We will also learn about the regional vegetation and the rice fields surrounding the reserve. This bird watching experience in the Olles Lagoon and the bay of Fangar runs along the entire coastline - from L'Ampolla to the fishing port of Illa de Mar.

After a journey of two and a half to three hours, we'll finish the tour by returning to the meeting point.
