In this bird watching activity in the Ebro Delta, we will observe the ornithological diversity of the province of Tarragona.

Ebro Delta Bird Watching Tour

We will meet at the reception of Camping Ampolla Playa de L'Ampolla. From there, we will start our tour to learn about the fauna of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. The route will be explored on foot and in your own car, following the guide's vehicle.

Following an environmental educator, we will explore the surroundings of the Olles Lagoon, home to an important population of waterfowl. During the tour, we will visit viewpoints around the lagoon to see species such as ducks, egrets, kingfishers, stilts, and flamingos.

Furthermore, we will learn about the regional vegetation and the surrounding rice fields. This bird watching experience in the Olles Lagoon and the bay of Fangar runs along the coastline from L'Ampolla to the fishing port of Illa de Mar.

After a journey of two and a half to three hours, we will finish the tour by returning to the meeting point.
