Ahuashiyacu Waterfall Day Trip
The Ahuashiyacu Waterfall Day Trip includes a visit to a 131-foot waterfall located in a natural area near Tarapoto. The tour starts with a hotel pickup in Tarapoto, followed by a 25-minute drive to the waterfall.
En route, participants will stop at the Cerro Escalera viewpoint for views of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. Afterward, a 5-minute walk will lead to the waterfall, accompanied by a tale about a girl cursed in the jungle.
Once at the waterfall, guests will have 1 hour of free time to enjoy swimming under the waterfall or explore nearby trails to observe local wildlife.
After the visit, the group will return to Tarapoto, concluding the tour with a hotel drop-off around 1 pm.
