Ahuashiyacu Waterfall Day Trip
This tour includes a visit to the Ahuashiyacu Waterfall, a 131-foot waterfall in a natural area near Tarapoto. The day begins with a hotel pickup in Tarapoto, followed by a 25-minute drive to the waterfall.
On the way, there will be a stop at the Cerro Escalera viewpoint to enjoy views of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. Following this, a 5-minute walk will lead to the waterfall, during which the legend of a young girl affected by a spell will be shared.
Participants will have 1 hour of free time to explore the area, swim under the waterfall, or walk along trails to observe local wildlife.
After the visit, the group will return to Tarapoto and be dropped off at their hotel by 1 pm.
