Carpishuyacu Waterfall Day Trip

Once we've met up at the designated time at 385 on Jiron Nasca, we'll hop aboard our minibus. We'll hit the Yurimaguas road as we drive towards the area surrounding the Carpishuyacu Waterfall.

After around a 1-hour drive, we'll set off on a 30-minute walk. As we walk, we'll admire the scenery around the waterfall. The guide will point out the biodiversity of this area and show us the different species of butterflies, birds, and amphibians that live in the Peruvian jungle.

Upon arrival at the Carpishuyacu Waterfall, you'll see 33 feet (10 metres) of cascading water. You will have 1 hour of free time to swim in the waterfall or explore the area on your own.

Next, we'll head to the Thermal Baths of San José, where you will have 30 minutes to relax in the hot springs. A lunch consisting of a main course and a drink will follow.

Afterwards, we'll return to the starting point in Tarapoto, concluding our day trip after a total of 8 hours.
