On this kayak tour through the Cacao Lagoon, you'll navigate through a mangrove paradise in Honduras and see native animals.
Description
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Ceiba and set off to the Cacao Lagoon, arriving in 40 minutes.
This lagoon is surrounded by cocoa trees and sugar cane, flowing directly into the sea. Once we reach the shore, our instructor will provide a briefing on paddling in a wooden kayak, beginning our adventure.
For 2.5 hours, we'll navigate the tranquil waters of this picturesque lake in the Nombre de Dios Natural Park. We'll see various types of mangroves and may observe olingos monkeys, white-faced monkeys, kingfishers, and herons in their natural habitat.
After the kayak tour, we will return to La Ceiba, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 5.5-6 hours after initial pickup.
