On this kayak tour through the Cacao Lagoon, you'll navigate through a mangrove paradise on the coast of Honduras and see native animals!
Description
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Ceiba and set off to the Cacao Lagoon, arriving in 40 minutes.
This hidden gem is surrounded by cocoa trees and sugar cane, with waters that flow into the sea. Upon arrival, an expert instructor will provide a briefing on paddling in a wooden kayak, marking the start of our adventure.
For the next 2.5 hours, we'll paddle through the tranquil waters of this lake, located within the Nombre de Dios Natural Park. Observe up to eight types of mangroves and look for olingos monkeys, along with potential sightings of white-faced monkeys, kingfishers, or herons.
After the kayak tour, we'll return to La Ceiba, with arrival at your hotel expected 5.5-6 hours after the initial pickup.
