On this excursion to Cayos Cochinos, you'll discover a true paradise in the Caribbean Sea.
Description
At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Ceiba and head to the Sambo Creek Tourist Center, where a boat is ready to transport us to Cayos Cochinos.
After a 40-minute boat ride, we'll arrive at Cayo Bolaños, a small islet with white sands and clear waters. You can take a dip in the inviting waters.
Next, we visit Cayo Menor and the Scientific Research Station. Here, a short video about the Natural Marine Monument of the archipelago provides insights into the area's ecological wonders.
Prepare for a snorkeling experience at Cayo Mayor, exploring the underwater world of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. We'll also take a guided hike through the island's vegetation to search for the pink boa.
After the hike, we'll head to Cayo Chachahuate, where you'll have 2 hours of free time for lunch, swimming, and sunbathing.
As the day ends, we'll return to Sambo Creek and then to your hotel, arriving around 3 pm.
