Rafting on Cangrejal River

Experience the thrill of rafting on the Cangrejal River, where you will see the vegetation of two distinct natural parks divided by its course.

Description

At 8:30 am, we'll meet in the Central Plaza of La Ceiba to board a minibus to the Cangrejal River. After a half-hour ride, we'll arrive at the top of the river to gear up for the rafting adventure. We'll navigate through the rapids until we reach the Bejuco trail.

Upon reaching the trail, we will disembark from the rafts and hike to a hidden waterfall, where we can enjoy tropical fruits. After a rest, we'll continue our descent through the most thrilling section of the river, encountering level 4 rapids for an exhilarating experience.

After completing our journey on the Cangrejal River, we will return to La Ceiba, arriving back at the meeting point around 2 pm.

Rapid Levels

The rapids' intensity varies by season. During low river conditions, expect level 2 and 3 rapids; under high river conditions, enjoy level 3 and 4 rapids.
