Description

We will meet at the entrance of La Conreria d'Scala Dei winery at the indicated time to begin a tour of the Priorat wine region in Catalonia.

Founded in 1997 by individuals historically linked to the area, La Conreria d'Scala Dei winery has been producing wine while respecting the legacy of the land and caring for the vines and grapes.

During the tour, we will explore their facilities, learning about the characteristics of the region and its vineyards, along with the winemaking process of various wine types. Enjoy views of the cliffs of Montsant.

Additionally, the Carthusian monastery of Scala Dei is located in this mountain range, where, eight centuries ago, monks defined the land that constitutes the Priorat Qualified Denomination of Origin.

At the end of the guided tour, we will taste 4 or 6 bottled wines from the winery, along with samples from tanks and barrels in process. The tour lasts approximately an hour and a half.
