Kayak Tour to Lobos Island

We'll meet at Waikiki Beach in Corralejo at 10 am for a kayak tour to Lobos Island. The name, "Wolves Island" in Spanish, originates from its historical habitation by sea wolves, or monk seals.

Initially, we'll provide instructions on kayak handling before embarking on our hour-long journey across the Bocaina Strait, which separates Fuerteventura from Isla de Lobos. Upon arrival, snorkelling equipment will be distributed to explore the marine biodiversity of the area, where sightings of bream, mussels, and crabs are common. A picnic will be served around 12:30 pm to recharge.

We will also visit El Puertito, a natural beach teeming with fish and charming fishermen's houses, offering opportunities to observe seagulls, bustards, and shearwaters.

After our visit, we will return to the kayaks for the paddle back to Corralejo, arriving at Waikiki Beach by 3 pm.
