Kayak Adventure to Lobos Island

Our journey begins at Waikiki Beach in Corralejo at 10 am for the kayak adventure to Lobos Island. The name "Wolves Island" in Spanish refers to its historical inhabitants, the monk seals, which are often called sea wolves.

We will start with a briefing on kayak handling techniques before embarking on our hour-long voyage across the Bocaina Strait, the body of water that divides Fuerteventura from Isla de Lobos.

Upon reaching our destination, we will equip ourselves with snorkelling gear to explore the vibrant marine life characteristic of this area within the Canary Islands. Look out for schools of bream, as well as mussels and crabs! Around 12:30 pm, we will take a break for a delightful picnic to recharge.

Additionally, we will visit El Puertito, a natural beach teeming with fish and dotted with quaint fishermen's cottages. This area is also a great spot to observe various birds such as seagulls, bustards, and shearwaters.

Lastly, we will return to our kayaks and paddle back to Corralejo, arriving at Waikiki Beach by 3 pm.
