La Oliva, Betancuria and Corralejo Dunes Day Trip
Between 9 and 9:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in the north of Fuerteventura. First, we'll head by minibus to the dunes of Corralejo, enjoying a 20-minute stop for photos.
Next, we'll pass through Puerto del Rosario and reach Sotavento Beach, known for its lagoons formed on the golden sandy shore, with a 45-minute stop here. Afterward, we'll visit the village of Pájara and Ajuy, famous for its black sand beach and caves. You will have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch in Ajuy.
Post-lunch, we'll cross Betancuria Rural Park, featuring the ravine of Las Peñitas from a viewpoint. In Betancuria, you'll have 30 to 40 minutes of free time. Our last stop will be the Los Reyes Mahos viewpoint to see bronze statues and admire west coast landscapes.
We'll discuss the sacred mountain of Tindaya as we travel through La Oliva, known for its windmill-dotted landscapes. The excursion concludes with a drop-off at your hotel around 5:30 pm.
Pickup
The tour includes pickup at hotels, apartments, and central points in the north of Fuerteventura: Corralejo, La Oliva, Villaverde, Lajares, and El Cotillo. If you are staying in the east or south, you must arrange your own transport to the north for pickup.
