Water Taxi to Lobos Island

You must collect your ticket at number 26 on Calle Iglesia in Corralejo, and then proceed to the harbour where the water taxi transports visitors to the nature reserve of Lobos Island, one mile off the coast of the larger Canary island. The cruise lasts just 15 minutes, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island as you approach. Upon arrival at Lobos Island, you will be dropped off at the dock to explore at your own pace.

What to Do on Lobos Island?

Lobos Island is ideal for enjoying a day at the beach or hiking along volcanic trails. There is a 12 km (7.5 mile) hiking route that circles the island, leading you to La Caldera, the highest point with stunning views. For beachgoers, La Concha Beach and El Puertito de Lobos are recommended for their clear turquoise waters. The only restaurant on the island, Lobos Antoñito El Farero, operates daily but is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
