Water Taxi to Lobos Island

You must collect your ticket at number 26 on Calle Iglesia in Corralejo, and from there, proceed to the harbour where this water taxi takes visitors to the Lobos Island, a nature reserve just one mile off the coast of the larger Canary island. The cruise lasts 15 minutes, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island as you approach.

Upon reaching Lobos Island, you'll disembark at the dock to spend a few hours exploring at your own pace.

What to Do on Lobos Island?

Lobos Island is an ideal spot for a day at the beach or hiking along volcanic trails. You can choose how to spend your time. There is a 12 km (7.5 mile) hiking route that circles the island, and a notable stop is at La Caldera, the highest point on the island, which offers stunning views.

If you prefer the beach, visit La Concha Beach or El Puertito de Lobos, known for their clear turquoise waters. The only restaurant on Lobos Island is Lobos Antoñito El Farero, which is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Water Taxi Timetable

When making your reservation, select the time of the water taxi for your outward journey. For the return, boats operate every 30 minutes, and you can decide which departure time you'll take on the day of your activity. You may stay on Lobos Island as long as you wish.
