On this night tour of the Teide National Park, participants will hike through magnificent mountainous landscapes under a starry night sky.
Tour Details
The tour will begin at the main entrance of the Parador Nacional de las Cañadas del Teide. After receiving instructions from the guide, the night hiking route through Las Cañadas del Teide will commence.
During the hike, approximately 5 kilometers will be covered as participants admire the night sky in all its glory. The route includes passing through Cañada Blanca, Roques de García, and other notable locations within the park.
Guides will assist in identifying the stars in the sky above Teide and its valleys. The stars shine brightly against the volcanic backdrop, with minimal light pollution enhancing the viewing experience.
Participants can expect to see various astronomical sights, including the moon and the Milky Way, with excellent visibility in Las Cañadas del Teide.
After a duration of 2.5 hours, the night tour will conclude with a return to the Parador Nacional.

For those opting for transportation, we can:
Pick you up in Puerto de la Cruz (taxi stand in Plaza del Charco) one hour prior to the start of the activity.Pick you up in Garachico (Plaza de la Libertad) one and a half hours before the activity begins.

HOW IT WORKS?
Participants will meet at the designated pickup location or the main entrance of the Parador Nacional. The hiking route will be led by an experienced guide who will provide insights into the night sky and the surrounding landscapes. The tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours, covering about 5 kilometers, with breaks for observation and learning about the celestial features visible above.
