Death Road Bike Route + Zipline
We'll pick you up at your hotel in La Paz at 7:30 am. We'll spend 1 hour traveling by bus to La Cumbre, where the bike route will begin.
The route will lead us along 20 kilometres until we reach the tourist control point, the start of Death Road. We'll cycle on winding roads along one of Bolivia's most spectacular routes, making different stops to enjoy the views.
After 10 kilometres, we'll reach the zipline park, where you'll have 20 minutes to slide down the cables that run through the tropical region of Yungas. After this adventure over the treetops, we'll continue with the bike tour.
We'll descend for 32 kilometres between waterfalls and dirt roads until we reach the village of Yolosa. Here, we'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in a local restaurant. You can also relax in the swimming pool, a perfect way to end the day!
The tour will conclude with our return to La Paz, arriving back at your hotel at 7:30 pm.
Types of Bikes
We have two types of bikes for the tour:
Double suspension bikes: recommended for those with less experience. They offer stability and comfort and are equipped with Hayes hydraulic brakes.Single suspension bikes: for clients with more experience. They are more rigid, making them more challenging to handle.
