Fighting Cholitas Show

We'll collect you from your hotel in La Paz before heading to El Alto, the second most populated city in Bolivia.

After a brief journey of around 45 minutes, we'll arrive at the venue for the wrestling match. The Fighting Cholitas are a group of indigenous Bolivian women who have been staging bouts for years in full traditional costume. The performance serves as a form of empowerment for this marginalized group and raises awareness of their position.

Upon arrival, you'll take your place in fantastic seats close to the ring, offering a prime view of the event. While you watch the fights, you can also enjoy some delicious popcorn and a refreshing soft drink of your choice.

The Cholita fight shares similarities with mainstream Mexican lucha libre and American pro wrestling as it is dramatized for entertainment and family-friendly viewing. During the show, you'll witness spectacular elbow drops, flying kicks, and other impressive acrobatic moves.

After this captivating performance, we will return to La Paz by bus.
