Ice Climbing on Huayna Potosí Mountain

Do you like adventure? Bolivia has one of the best places in the world for ice climbing. At the indicated time, we'll meet at the offices located on Sagarnaga Street and start this climbing experience on the Huayna Potosí mountain.

Once we are together, we'll travel by minibus to the base camp of Huayna Potosí, located at 4,700 metres (15,400 feet) above sea level. After obtaining the necessary equipment, we will walk along the glacier.

The route takes approximately 40 minutes to reach one of the frozen walls at the area of the Old Glacier, suitable for ice climbing. We'll spend between two and three hours on this activity.

After climbing walls up to 10 metres (32 feet) high, we will have a wholesome lunch while admiring the beauty of the snow-capped mountain. Then, we'll hike back to base camp.

The activity will conclude at the starting point after about 10 hours on the Huayna Potosí mountain.
