Tour Details
Our adventure commences at Plaza San Francisco, where we will gather to kick off this gastronomic exploration of La Paz. Are you prepared? Let's set off!
Our initial destination is the vibrant Mercado Lanza, a bustling market frequented by locals for fresh vegetables and exotic fruits. Here, you'll have the chance to experience our first delight: a delightful api con pastel, a classic beverage crafted from purple corn served alongside an empanada.
Following this, we will continue to several renowned local restaurants to savor traditional snacks and regional specialties. As we navigate the historic heart of La Paz, you'll gain insights into Bolivian gastronomy and the historical context of its traditional recipes.
Our journey will then lead us to a restaurant where we can sample Colonial or Andean dishes, all paired with a refreshing beer. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to visit a charming local spot to try singani, a well-known spirit distilled from the Muscat of Alexandria grape.
We'll wrap up this unforgettable food tour with a taste of charquicán or pique macho, a beloved local dish featuring beef, sausages, potatoes, and egg. A true culinary experience!
After approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, we will conclude our tour in the historic center of La Paz, where you will receive a warm farewell.
