La Paz Tour & Folklore Show with Dinner
We'll pick you up from your hotel in La Paz at 2 pm and start our tour. We'll head to the historic centre of La Paz, founded in 1548 by the Spaniard Alonso de Mendoza, and learn about its history and significance as Bolivia's administrative capital.
During our tour, we'll admire the city's iconic monuments, including the La Paz Cathedral, San Francisco Church, and the Government Palace. We'll stroll around Murillo Square before visiting the Witches' Market, where yatiris (local witch doctors) sell amulets, potions, and medicinal plants used in their rituals.
La Paz is known as "the city of viewpoints", so we'll visit the Killi Killi observation deck. After enjoying the views, we'll take the cable car to Moon Valley, a unique park with clay obelisks and stalagmites.
At around 7 pm, we'll head to the Peña Huari restaurant for a traditional buffet dinner while watching a performance of Andean folkloric music and dances. The buffet will include salads, side dishes, and meat or fish.
After this experience, we'll finish our activity at San Francisco Square at 9 pm.
