Description

We'll meet at the designated time at the Steakhouse on Calle Murillo, in the heart of La Paz. From here, we'll set off on an alternative route to the usual tourist paths, visiting places frequented by locals.

For an authentic experience, we'll utilize public transport (bus, microbus, or cable car) to reach the various stops. Our first stop will be the Cementerio General, a large cemetery with a significant history and the resting place of many notable historical figures.

Next, we'll take the cable car up to El Alto to enjoy views from 2.5 miles (4,000 meters) above sea level on the Altiplano plateau. We'll also visit the witches' market, where you can receive a fortune told with coca leaves by a local yatiri (shaman).

Afterwards, we'll go to the El Alto viewpoint to conclude the day with a view of the valley of La Paz and the snow-capped Illimani Mountain.

At the end of the 3-hour tour, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll enjoy a typical drink at the Sol y Luna Café.
